STEED are a Dutch band from the town of Alkmaar in The Netherlands with a Liverpool accent. The British influence is everywhere in both its style and sound. With flavors of The Jam, Blur, Supergrass and Curtis Mayfield, the result is a sharp pop rock sound with an honest edge. Their debut album ‘A Curious Case Of Countless Clues’ (2010) was praised in the local media. The surprising additions of soulful horns, combined with the vintage sound of the Philicorda, complete the atmosphere of the songs into a tasteful whole. Successful supporting roles for among others Moke, The Madd, Bettie Serveert and The Customs means that STEED are now ready to widen their horizons. The band recently self published and released their second album produced by Frans Hagenaars in 2013 titled “Tomorrow’s Never Ending” where “Rollercoaster” has been released as it’s first single along with a music video.
